I'm sort of in the same situation. I don't know if you saw that the Feb 2002 Foxpro Advisor had an article on CR by Mark Miller. I'm particularly intrigued by the left pane preview summary that allows you to move quickly to a section of the report that references a specific customer for instance.

I have been able to survive so far with some serious VFP Report Writer Tweaks and Word Automation, but I'm not sure how much longer that will last.
