I've said this before, earlier in the thread, but it seems worth repeating here: this really depends on what the job market will look like in a year or two once this catches on.
If you think its unrealistic that C# developers will be favored over VB.NET developers, I've already heard of .NET projects that had to be done in C# over VB.NET because of government mandates.
I don't know the details, but its something to keep in mind.
