this is really interesting! On all systems where the problem occured, Norton Anti-Virus was installed at about the same time as VFP 7.

Since I know almost nothing about Norton AV, would you enlighten me what the Office Plug-In is and how I can check that? If it was on my machine, how could it be turned off?
