I just made the decision to focus on C# for a few different reasons: I've got two different books on VB.NET right now, and I'm finding the syntax a bit weird. It's kind of like VB is, which I've always thought was a bit "wordy". Personal preference I guess. Another reason is it's similar to Java, which may come in handy in the future. If I've got to go through the pain of learning a new language I might as well get the most benefit. A third reason is that there seems to be more C# samples in the Microsoft stuff. I already have to translate Microsoft's C++ and Visual Basic samples into VFP, and I don't want to have with a new language ;-) Yeah, that will most likely get better with time, but I'm learning it NOW.

The one thing that I'm sure I'm going to hate is the case sensitivity issue (which VB.NET doesn't have). This always bites me when I'm coding in JavaScript, so I'm sure it will here as well.
