If I get my taxes done and get them back, and say its not fair, does that make it fair to just say I can throw out the taxes and be done with it?

No. The only fair way to do this would be to rejudge the competition with a new impartial judge. Based on the press coverage of that, I think that would be a rather difficult task.

Had the judge been impartial the results may be very differnt from what they are simply throwing out the tainted judge's score.
