Point is that you can build those kind of tools very easily with just the basic language. For example that class I described is about 300 lines of code between both the client and server pieces, and it's all plain VFP code (Ok, I'm cheating a little because the HTTP stuff would take more work without wwHTTP but if you're crafty you can find a free version of that <g>)...
The idea here is that VFP is powerful enough to build a variety of solutions directly without requiring any other tools - although I will say that it will save lots of time <s>...
