As Frank says, if you're using an Activex grid, maybe that grid has the ability to expand current row only? You could make the current row high enough; the problem would be to detect what is big enough - if you could know when is your editbox showing a scrollbar, and expand until it vanishes, that would do it. When the mouse leaves the row, you could revert to regular height.
