Hi!

I know the approach and can send it here. Let me know if you need it. However...

I got a permissions from Paul Vlad Tatavu to improve his Fancy Tool Tip control. I'm working on this now and is close to finish. If you will wait for week or two, you will be able to get an improved version of the control. It will display tool tips in the colors and font defined in the Control Panel in Windows. It will contain also a lot more new features and improvements, list of which is longer than just can fit on a single page ;) 2 main things - it will be much mroe reliable, it will be a separate "global" control (separate window), its speed is improved, it will be able to display tool tips for ActiveX controls with no problem, it will display tool tops for different parts of the grid, it will reflect also some W2K settings for tool tips - fading or popping (rolling) effects.

I'm working on this control for months during my free time, but now it is quite close to be finished.

I do not know yet if I will post a source code though, but the control will be available for use for free and I will upoad it here and will do some support of it.

>Hi all,
>I'm testing some multiline Tooltiptext in the moment. I've tested some of the solutions out of downlad area. What I miss is that the tooltiptext is influenced from windows (display) setting of quickinfo. How can I get those settings (back~ and forecolor, font name, ~size, ~italic and ~bold)?

>The solutions from download use all a LABEL to display. This is limited to 256 characters? Would it be better to use a EDITBOX? Even if I can not use AUTOSIZE()?

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
