Right. But to what/whose end? Seems to me the Russians have a stake in this too. And that would be so regardless of which side started the skulduggery.
I guess it's possible that the French did this expecting the Russians to agree and got surprised when they didn't. But then they (the French committee)surely would have called the crooked judge off, telling her to judge fairly.
And regardless... given what the French judge admitted to to several people, even if she is now denying all, what would be the problem, if the other judges are fair, to replace the Russian judge anyway? And the French one too, if there is one?
By the way, the facilities, the scenery and the crowds are all looking spectacular on TV.
>Although she is now denying it, the French judge allegedly said she was pressured by the French Olympic committee, not by the Russians.

>>Yea, me too. Now how do you think they justify that???

>>>They ought to get judges from countries that are withing 100 miles of the equator to judge all ice skating. At best, get judges from countries that have no dogs in the hunt. I still can not believe the IOC or ISU did not remove the Russian judge from the ice dancing competition if only to dispell any hint of impropriety.

>>>>The ISU has said it will come out today with a proposal for new judging guidelines.
