Shouldn't be a problem - use the AT command to dial the number. If you are listening via the modem speaker, you'll probably need to drop back to command mode, to avoid the modem hanging up when no carrier is detected. If you are listening by phone, if you lift the receiver you may not have to do this, depending on how the phone is connected.
