Hi - big dilemma - we have a client who had a database app developed years ago in Foxpro for Windows 2.6... The company who developed it installed FPW on each of the PCs and put their own files central on the server. ie. The shorcut starts FPW which in turn calls the relevant .app/.prg file on the server. It all worked fine...
We have supplied the company with new hardware and had now come across the "Divide by zero" error. It is a problem with older versions of FP and fast processors. It is documented here
http://support.microsoft.com/directory/article.asp?ID=KB;EN-US;Q240982So I downloaded the patch and ran it - I got an error - "Patch26 error: Incorrect Foxpro 2.6 file size : c:\foxwin\foxprow.exe"
I took this to mean that it needed to be 2.6a rather than 2.6 - so I obtained from MS the 2.6 to 2.6a upgrade.
When I attempted to run this it told me that some of the files where not baseline files and to re-install FPW from the original diskettes (we do not have these...)
Any ideas of what we can do - we are really stuck!!!
Thanks
