Hi Kevin,
sorry for not clear posting. What I mean by 'going to EDIT mode' is:
1.If I click New button after form is activated for the first time, the second page is activated so I can add a new record(everything is OK so far).
2.If I enter some data in the controls, hit SAVE and, let say, some rules are broken, I got a message(the code for the BizRulesObj is pretty standard, nothing special). Then, let say I canceled adding new record ,going back to the first page with the grid, first row on the grid is highlighted. Then I click New button again. The second page is activated BUT instead of all controls being blank to accept new data, I got data from the record that highlighted on the grid on the first page (that's what I meant by 'going to the EDIT mode').
3.Exactly the same behavior I got if after form is activated for the first time and I click PRINT button, preview report(very simple report), cancel it and then click New button. In this scenario on the second page instead of all controls being blank to accept new record data, I got data from the record which is highlighted on the grid(could be any record, not the first one).
And, like I've said, 90% of all forms I am talking about are pretty the same, just standard cBizObjMaintenance form without any our code and some works fine, some don't.
One thought: I think (but not 100% sure) those forms that don't work properly were created on previous version of the Framework(MM 6.1). Then we've got the new one(MM 6.1.2) and the forms without problem were created(not a 100% sure about that) on the new version. Could that be a problem? But overall everything is fine, you know.
Kevin, if this is still doesn't make sense (because of me, of course), please, let me know and I'll ask my boss(Gary Pike), he'll explain it much better. We are not expecting from you to say 'Ok, this is the problem', just your thoughts, you know, ideas. stuff like that. The easiest way to try to fix it would be to recreate forms with problem again and see what would happened but we really like to know what we did wrong, if it possible.
Sorry for the long message, just trying to explain better.
Huge 'Thank you' for your help and time, Kevin.
Best Refards.
Igor
