Hi,

I'm new to SQL Server having used VFP for a number of years. I have a question regarding SQL Server stored procedures. Specifially, can a stored proc call an 'external'(for lack of a better term) exe ?

For example, if, on the same physical box as the SQL Server, I had an executable "C:\AFX\DayEndService.exe". What would the T-SQL syntax be to call this exe?
