Should you not be able to obtain the SP, converting to VFP 5, 6 or 7 is not too difficult. I have done this on many occasions by making a copy and bringing it into the version of interest of VFP. One conversion took about 20 minutes to resolve the errors as when I compiled it let me know what code was not acceptable. I liked that! No conversion took more than a few hours. The end result is a much more stable application. Although I have used VFP 3.0 from its Beta release I would never use it again nor have I used it since VFP 5.0 was released.

I realize you have to keep your customer happy and comply with his/her wishes so good luck with the project. :)
