We downloaded the trial version and installed it on a Terminal Server (Win 2000) where a couple VFP apps are housed. Appeared to work OK, and was able to save the finished PDFs back on local drives when remotely running the VFP apps.

We like it a lot because we need PDF output with watermark capability, and the Visage driver has that.

We still have some issues with the Visage print server not starting correctly when people log into the Terminal Server, but for pure local use it looks like a winner. We used to use the DocuCom driver from Zeon (it worked well too, but had trouble on Terminal Server) and also looked at tools from FinePrint (www.fineprint.com). Fineprint has some nice stuff, but their main driver does not output to PDF...for that you need to buy their pdfFactory piece which is an additional 49 bucks or so... Or if you don't need watermarks, pdfFactory works well on its own.

Also tried out a driver from BCL (http://www.bclcomputers.com/ - site appears to be down right now) but it had no watermarks. And then ther is the Jaws PDF creator (http://www.jawspdf.com/) but that didn't do watermarks either.

Let us know your experiences with the Visage driver...it looks like a pretty sweet little driver for under fifty bucks!
