Thought I would ask you folks before I tried to navigate the help desk at MS...

I am trying to install an Upgrade to VS 6.0 of VS.NET professional on my desktop. PIII 600 512 ram WIN2K Pro
VS 6.0 is already loaded.

The install added the necessary components. It rebooted. Now when I try to do the rest of the install, it runs for a while, never asks for a 2nd CD, and eventually tells me the "user cancelled the install". Trust me...I did not cancel it. I have tried this install multiple times, always with same result.

I finally got frustrated and loaded it on my laptop. Installed just fine. So it is not the CD's. MY LAPTOP IS NOT WHERE I WANT IT!

Any ideas?
