Absolute least expensive (and best IMHO) web solution is this combination assuming you are a small business:
1.) Win2K Server running Web, SMTP, and DNS Server (all built in)
2.) ASP/VFP COM - incredible performance (can take same VFP mtdll and call from ASP.NET if you want to stay on the edge)
3.) DSL line (DirectTV DSL is as low as 39.95/mo. and they allow a commercial service to run on it along with 1 static IP, 5 additional computers, DNS server, SMTP server, Web Server)
4.) Verisign PayFlow link for e-commerce - saves you the cost of an SSL certificate for encrypted transactions.
