So change my example to a LEFT JOIN...I don't see why the join type would matter...once you have your data back from the view, VFP simply looks at the props you have set and updates whatever table you wish (based on the keys you set up). If instead of using a WHERE (INNER) join between my AGENT and SUBAGENT table I used a LEFT OUTER JOIN, it would still work the same way...might have to look out for NULLs..

Sorry if I misinterpreted your question or didn't give you enough credit on your view knowledge...that wasn't my intention...just trying to help by pointing out some examples that you might be able to modify...
