That's right. If you don't use the enhanced (SHBrowseForFolder) method, it'll always be centered, otherwise, because all windows messages are processed through the _VFP window (even with SDI forms), it'll be relative to it's position. Sorry.

This does bring up an interesting question that I haven't invesitigated. Assuming an SDI application, where SCREEN=OFF and the main VFP window is positioned at -10000, -10000 or the like (not an uncommon practice), where, if at all, will the enhanced GETDIR() dialog appear? Quite frankly, I don't know, but unless someone beats me to it over the next few days, I'll find out.
