The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) passed by Congress in November 1998 requires that operators of online services or Web sites obtain parental consent prior to the collection, use, disclosure, or display of the personal information of children.

My question on this issue: Does Microsoft comply with the above act in the collection of information from Media Player using the XP operation system, when children are using a computer?

Big brother would never use such information that is why they are collecting it!
