You're right the _screen.visible = .F. does cause a flickering. My config.fpw file already contains SCREEN = OFF.

For a test I took out the _screen.visible = .F. and recompiled my app. When I ran the .exe I ended up seeing the VFP Screen?! Am I doing something wrong?

A side note is with _screen.visible = .F. out of my program that my form kept the focus, but now I see the VFP Screen (which I need to get ride of). Thank you for your help, have any more suggestions?
