Installation et configuration
I spent the better part of yesterday downloading an evaluation version of InstallShield express. (5 hours to download on my slow connection). I spent about another 5 hours trying to get it to create a successful install. Same problem, I could not get it to include the runtime files (or I did not know how to do it.)
I found SetupFactory (http\\www.indigorose.com) and downloaded a trial version. Download took about 20 minutes. I downloaded the 6.0 Visual FoxPro 6.0 runtime support module (about another 10 minutes to download, and in about 25 minutes, I had a working setup package created that included the runtime files as listed below. I was having trouble with the VFP Setup wizard not registering some activeX controls, but Setup factory allowed me to easily include and register DLLS and ActiveX controls in a very intuitive way. The SetupFactory install Screens may not be as fancy as Install Shield, But I found it much easier to use.
The following is from the Setup Factory Documentation:
The Setup Factory 6.0 Visual FoxPro 6.0 runtime support module installs the following files on the user's system:
VFP6R.DLL
VFPT.DLL
VFPRENU.DLL
VFP6RUN.EXE
FOXHHELP.EXE
FOXHELPS.DLL
All of these files are installed in the users system directory, represented by %SysDir%.
I did have to change the path to 2 files (msvcrt.dll and oleaut32.dll) in the S.F. VFP runtime project. These were not pointing to the correct location.
From this I would assume that the files that you had mentioned should be incuded in the setup package and should be redistributable.
