Well, I'm "that member", but I'm not sure what you meant when you said "I will that member to say what he said." Reads kind of like a typo, so I didn't get the full meaning. But Jim was right, I did want to do a search for messages from a particular person over a date range and didn't feel that for such a search that there should be a requirement to enter search text. I was able to filter on a range of just a week or less, because I knew the rough time frame and I, of course, wanted to keep the results as small as possible.

Back to the issue of seeing only messages for a given day: I have suggested this before and you completely blew it off, but I really feel this interface is limiting. The VFP newsgroups on the MS news server allow you to see the postings for more than just one day at a time and so do the message boards on the West Wind site. So it's not as if no one else offers this. This one day at a time stuff just drives me completely bonkers. It's fine if you like it, but why not allow others who don't like it the capability to view the messages over a given date range? I'd usually like to see all messages for about the past 7 days or so.
