Sorry to bother you about this again, but I'm getting desperate here.

The exact same syntax will run a job:

1: without errors from a command line
2: without errors as a DTS package
3: without errors as a scheduled task in Windows scheduler
4: without errors when executing the DTS package from the RUN cmd line

5: The job will start but not complete (hang?) when run as a SQL Agent scheduled task. When stopped via Enterprise manager, the job reports it has stopped, but does in fact still show up in the Windows Task manager.

And it's not because the agent won't run VFP stuff at all - a little test program I wrote executes perfectly and shuts down without any problems.

So, any ideas you may have will be highly appreciated.
