This reply is not a solution or even a suggestion, but, I just had to say that I too wanted to be able to create a presentation layer that behaves like the project manager.

I wanted to have it dockable, with "tear/break off" pages, sizeable, etc. I've been tinkering and thinking about this for years now and still cannot manage to make it work. I've requested/wished that VFP8.0 would be capable of doing this for us automagically. It ain't easy (for me anyway) to duplicate and is a really cool interface when you consider all of what the project manager can do.
