I tried oh.exe on the server, but apparently it didn't do anything - just a short flash of a window... I guess I didn't have the right syntax, or the server is not set up for oh to work. I used the Start/Run, with something like:
oh -t c:\fox\filename.dbf -o c:\ohtest.txt
In any case, the tool that we need is something that we can run on our development station, if we have to go to the server it is not very practical. Right now we use the compmgmt.msc Tools\Shared folders\Open Files on the server.
>There is a tool called oh.exe in the Win2K Server Resource Kit that you also might want to try. I have used it on the place where the .dbc lives to see who had it in-use.
