I've right clicked on My Network Places, then right clicked on my network, but I can't see these settings on any of the tabs.

I have client version 4.80 SP3. It looks like version 4.81 is available from Novell. Did upgrading the client solve the problem for you?

>Test the following settings in the Novell client (ensure it is the latest version of the client for W2k first):

>Delay Write =OFF
>End Of Job =ON
>Cache Writes = OFF
>Hold Files = ON
>True Commit = ON

>>Title: VFP7 SP1 menu read-only on Netware drive
>>
>>Steps:
>>Using VFP7SP1...
>>1) Create a project called test on a netware drive
>>2) Add a menu called test to project. Save and close menu
>>3) Open menu and modify, then attempt to save menu.
>>4) Message "File test.mmx is read-only".
>>
>>Expected Results:
>>Menu should save without displaying "read-only" message above.
>>

>>- Netware drive is Netware 5.x
>>- Problem does not appear if project and menu are saved on local C drive
