Every time you save a class VFP deletes the old records in the VCX for that class and appends new records. So the VCX/VCT suffer normal Xbase table bloat. This is even more noticable if your classes have lots ot contained objects because each object uses a row in the table. If you have a form class that has 50 controls on it, you are deleting 51 rows and appending 51 rows with each save.
>How do I keep my .VCT files from becoming so large ove time? I have a .VCX file that is 13K and the associated .VCT file is a whopping 979K! This is in VFP 5.0a if that is a factor.
