It is a pretty close call for you, but I would say upgrade for a few reasons:
- developer productivity gains from Intellisense. For things like Office automation or trying to write a client for a Webservice, intellisense is a _huge_ time saver
- the opportunity for experimenting with VFP7 features before you are required to use them in your apps. In other words be proactive instead of reactive
