Try :

WITH THISFORM
     .Grid1.RECORDSOURCE = ""

     *-- SELECT ....FROM ...INTO CURSOR MyCursor
     *-- Here only requery your cursor

     .Grid1.RECORDSOURCE = "MyCursor"
ENDWITH
