So we need to send data back and forth and convert it between the .Net dataset and Foxpro cursor. The updategrams (which can be produced by FoxPro from cursors) seems to be a way to go. But dataset doesn't accept it and needs its own format (diffgrams). So we are in confusion whether, to write our own converter or use totally another thing. The problem seems to be very common. So there should be an easier way than custom convertes/dom manipulation etc.
I haven't tried this recently but make sure you're running VFP7 SP1, which synched up the XML formats better than pre-SP1.
What are you trying to do exactly? Provide offline datasets and the udpdate the data back into the dataset?
