>The solutions you listed are probably pretty close to your best options. If you have some money to throw at the application, you could investigate in Network Computers (something like WinFrame). I have seen a demo here and they work pretty good over a dial up. The WinFrame main computer does all of the processing, and you see a painted representation of the screen (just like a MainFrame and the screen updates like PCAnyWhere does). The WinFrame works with existing servers and applications.

Check out WinFrame by Citrix. It's an amazing product which will allow as many users as you can throw at it. It is very fast, even over dialup and can be easily migrated to work over the internet. FYI, microsoft has bought the WinFrame technology and it will be incorporated in the next version of NT. Beta testing for it should have already started.
