>What exxcatly is a Framework? I sort of remember something called Code Warrior and I remember the orginal CodeBook.

A framework will save you tons of hours. It consists of all kinds of code, classes, forms and stuff that are basic to all apps and are the foundation to any app you need to built. For example, many frameworks already have security, login, audit trails and that kind of stuff built. They also have the wrinkles worked out for dealing with parent/child forms, business objects and different things you'll encounter. And most frameworks also have a great support system in place, including newsgroups of other users of their framework .. priceless!
