I know that the object is not installed under that name on my PCAnywhere 9.2 system, but a number of OLE objects related to PCAnywhere are present.

I traced them either through file extensions that pointed to classes, or by viewing the names of objects in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT hive (objects like PcaAdmn.AwAdmn.1, Awfilexfer.RemoteFile.1, etc kind of stand out...) and then going through and exploring the COM interface with the Object Viewer.
