>I use SuSe 7.2. In fact I still have it running. I use it at home. But, I've been forced to buy a new machine to run Win XP for development. Ilove Linux, but I don't see it going anywhere except the server market for a while. Linux just isn't ready for prime time yet.
If I were running SuSE 7.2 I'd agree with you. 7.2 was the worse release SuSE ever put out. But, 7.3 Pro is a HUGE step forward in ease of install, hardware recogniziton and installation, and ease of use. Sort of like comparing Win3.1 with W2K.
With StarOffice 6.0 or OpenOffice.org the office productivity suite is covered. With Binai compatibility with Exchange is covered. Plugs are available for QuickTime and MediaPlayer. It's a whole new world and change is rapid, if nothing else. Doubt if VFP will ever make it to Linux, though, but there are compatibile clones in the works! ;-)
