Advertising a special as "savings up to $200", to me, is more appropriate to a used car dealership. A intelligent audience can handle being told, clearly, what the price is up front.
While I am sure Microsoft including a limited Installshield in VFP 7.0 is not a bait and switch, right now I could not exactly say why.
I am sure there are many good reasons to use Installshield. They have also provided many reasons not to invest in it.
I use, and have found excellent and sufficient for our needs innosetup available at
www.innosetup.com.
