Why not solve the mystery by just trying it? Fire up a Web Browser control and navigate to:
http://www.west-wind.com/wconnect/wwhttpdemo.appThat is an ActiveDoc VFP7 application. If it runs, then Active Docs run in the Web Browser control, assuming you have VFP7 runtimes on your machine. (Note that there will be a pause while the 500K app downloads.)
