It would be nice to see a comparison of all of the frameworks with a clear "winner" but it would also be nice to be able to fly without an airplane too <g>.

There is one overriding fact here and that is that using any framework is emensely better than using no framework. In truth the difference between using a framework for your work and not using one is orders of magnitude more important than which framework you use.

It is also true that you will never be successfull at finding how weel any framework fits your development style until you have used it to build an application. You could spend the rest of your carreer evaluating the available frameworks and not reach a complete decision.

So what do you do then? You buy one of them and use it to build an app. The cost of framework will be more than offset in its usefullness in the building of the app. The experience of using it will move far along the road of learning any other framework also. At the end of the project you can look back and evaluate your experience with the one you bought. This experience can be very valuable in comparing the weaknesses (they all have weaknesses and strengths) in the one you chose to the others that are available. At that point you can decide to continue using the one you have or acquiring another one (with much higher degree of wisdom in making the second choice).

So, I guess what I am saying is to stop fretting over it and buy one, use it, and evaluate the experience at the end of the project.
