>From within VFP...you mean from the command box? If it runs fine, then I don't think there is something wrong with the EXE. It may have something to do with the current directory when your program is being run...set the step on and have a look.

This sounds like the shortcut to DOS. I've gotten this error before. I had to move a dos prompt shortcut to my
app directory. This was after moving to Windows 95. For some reason, VFP was
still looking to my old Dos PIF settings.
