Not here in Canada -- you'll get sued. For example, several years ago, Novell CNE's as a group were about to be sued because "E" stands for "Engineer". Only a last-minute agreement between Novell and whatever organization is responsible for this in Canada prevented the lawsuit. Several community colleges did get sued for teaching "Software Engineering".
