Thanks, Kevin and Dan. The INI file is pointing to the correct location - i.e. the shared folder. After Dan's suggestion, I also tried moving the METADBC into the local directory.

I feel like I'm missing some critical concepts.

I created a new Mere Mortals project. I didn't make any tweaks to the framework - everything worked great in the development environment. I'd run DO MAIN, and everything worked - menus, toolbars, all my forms, etc.

I compiled the project as an exe, rebuilding all files, and tried running it from a local directory. I have not been able to get it to work.

I've copied classes.dbf, metadata.dbc, metadbc.dbf, mmdatenv.dbf, and errorlog.dbf into the local directory to try to get it to work, and nothing.

Any thoughts? Right now, I'm going to try from scratch - rebuilding the project, creating a new local directory, and see what happens. I'm totally stumped.
