Hi Elmer:
The further I get into this, the more complicated it gets.
I have actually got the form to close properly when minimized on the Task Bar even when Modal by adding Thisform.Release() to the Unload Event, so this is progress.
But I am now realizing that my application is running in a Main Screen generated by Visual Foxpro. I have gone into Modify Screen to make the Main Foxpro Screen closable, but the closeable feature is disabled when another screen is active.
So I have a situation where I can minimize and close the operating screen from the Task Bar, but the Main Screen stays maximized. Now after I close the operating screen, then the X in the Main Screen becomes active so I can then close the Main Screen.
If I minimize the Main Screen while the operating screen is active, the Close option is not available.
I have tried to find a way of not having the Main Screen open but there doesn't appear to be a way of stopping it.
Do you have any thoughts on this convoluted story?
