I thought that the view sql window was always read only (at least it always has been for me). However, I typically use ViewEditor. It solves a lot of the problems that the built in Foxpro View Editor has. You can find it at www.geeksandgurus.com. Hope this helps.

>I have several local views in a database. Last week, I went in and modified and saved changes to one of the local views in the view sql window with no problem. Now all of the views are saying read only from the view sql window. Does anyone have any idea as to what may have changed?
