It seems like I have run across this before. Since the record pointer is moved to a blank record, the grid is on the blank record. Can you scroll the grid up, or is is totally blank (i.e. Columns disappear). If you can't scroll the grid up, then you may try issuing a "GO TOP" after you do the tableupdate. Also be sure to refresh the grid not just the form (i.e. thisform.myGrid.refresh) Let me know how it works out.
