Mauricio & Dan, the problem is usually that VFP doesn't close the file sent to the print spooler so the spooler stays open until there is a network timeout or until you close the application. Sometimes you will find that users have different timeouts set in their network logon files, which may account for the problem appearing only in certain computers.

Dan's solution is the only one I've found except for the even more drastic "SET PRINTER TO xxx followed by SET PRINTER TO where 'xxx' is another printer name.

Mauricio, are you using a peer-to-peer network like Lantastic? They are the worst with this problem.
