Hi!

Session object is specially created to maintain private data sessions in the code without use of the forms. They're very useful in the COM objects. You do not need to create the Session object when you need to use default data session. When you really need such feature, just use a form object that you never show. I guess this property is a leftover from making the session class using some code that was before SP3 for VFP6 for forms.
