Problem solved.
I used the command
THISFORM.SetAll('Enabled',.f.,'textbox') to turn off all of the textboxes on the pageframe page. That caused the flashing cursor on the pageframe to go away and let the SetFocus to the first textxbox on the form stand as the correct one.
