I'll issue the disclaimer first that there might be some default class behaviour going on with our combo box that I haven't figured out, but I'll post the general question anyway:
I have a 2-column grid in a container on a form. One of the columns has this combobox control (dropdown list only). The control is designed to display multiple columns/fields (field row source) and then store the first listed field as its value (which would correspond to the underlying table field). The Valid Event in the textbox control of the other column creates a cursor that feeds the combobox's row source. The selection works fine however the actual value does not get displayed in the combo box until I tab or click off of that control. Then, the correct value is displayed. If I re-set focus to the combo box, then the value is not displayed.
Could anyone point me in the right direction to get the value to display while the control has focus?
Thanks!
Laterness,
Jon
