Looking for a method to close open DBF's after hours to perform scheduled maintenance. Using mostly 2000 servers, but have 2 Novell servers left inhouse. Want to Schedual DBF Packs, and rebuild indexes using a scheduler after business hours. Users are known to leave PC's on with files open.
Is there a way to knock users off of open DBF's to gain exclusive control?
Developing in Visual 6 and 7.
