Get a load of this! This is a clip from an email I received from the local last night.
"MSS Technologies and Microsoft would like to invite you to join us for the
first Knowledge Management User Group (KMUG) meeting. The KMUG is being
established to provide a forum for individuals and organizations to learn
and share information on Microsoft Knowledge Management Solutions."
Fox-what? Some things never change
>They have to have a local Microsoft person willing to sponsor your group, >which is probably the case with the other groups.

>>I'm not convinced simple persistence will do it. The last time I called, the response was "Fox what"? It wasn't all that long ago MSDN sent a survey to all the user group presidents asking what neede be done. Did you see it? I was quite surprised to see what MSDN thinks we are, or at least should be, getting for support on the local level. I guess what really annoys me is there is the SQL group, the Webmasters group, the professional developers group and the .Net group all do get local support. But "Fox what"? I guess we should be used to it by now ;-}
